Use a Tarp to cover your Roof
Has your roof recently been damaged by a natural disaster? If so, once the bad weather clears you need to inspect your roof to determine just how much damage has occurred. Hopefully you will find that everything is still in good shape, for the most part. If there is an issue, you may need to use a tarp to cover the problem for the time being.
For example, a hurricane or high force winds could easily rip off shingles and cause other damage to the wood structure of your roof. Until you can get professional help, you will want to cover the problem areas with a tarp. This will help you avoid additional damage, while keeping the inside of your property in good condition.
Of course, it is important to exercise extreme caution when walking your roof and laying a tarp. If you are not able to do this, stay off your roof until you can get help.
It may not be ideal, but covering your roof with a tarp can help prevent further damage before the necessary roof repairs are made.
