Permanent Valley Repair

Mr Roof Repair was called to repair a leaking valley. Valley was leaking because no waterproof membrane was installed so we removed the shingles, installed the membrane and reinstalled the shingles. We also performed a roof tune up and repaired a leaking roof vent.

Flat Roof Repair Drip Edge Installation

Mr Roof Repair installed a drip edge around entire flat roof perimeter. This was covered with a layer of roof cement, followed by a layer of membrane and an additional layer of roof cement and then granules.
We sealed the seam on the corner where the flat roof meets the shingles. Sealed attic vents to ensure they are watertight and will not leak. We also did a valley repair. Valley Repair

There is a leak in the roofing system originating from the valley. There is no ice and water shield (water proof membrane) installed and shingles were not sealed to valley, therefore water is crossing the valley from top to bottom and getting in under the shingle tabs.
The repair Specialist did a full attic inspection. We checked the insulation for the homeowner, but found this is a recent leak and the insulation has not yet been damaged. As well there is no wood rot at this time – only wood staining …

Valley Repair

Valley is 15 ft. We removed one layer of shingles on either side of valley. We also removed the valley metal and installed ice and water shield (water proof membrane) on each side of valley 24” out and 15 ‘ up valley
We applied roof cement to both sides of water proof membrane on each valley. We re installed new shingles using roof cement and nails for a closed valley method.

Pipe Flashing Repair

It was necessary to redo both VALLEYs AND PIPE FLASHING
Redo the pipe flashing using roof cement and nails.

The valley is 14 ft. in length. We removed one shingle on either side of valley. We also removed the valley metal and installed an ice and water shield (water proof membrane) on each side of valley 24” out and 14‘ up the valley.
We added roof cemented on both sides of the water proof membrane on valley  and re installed new shingles using roof cement and nails for a closed valley method.

Metal Valley Repair

There was a roof leak coming from the valley above the main entrance of house, we found two cracks on metal valley. The 2 cracks were 10 feet down and ten feet up from valley, both were caused by mishanding when they installed the valley.

Eavestrough Leaks Damage Home

Problem Description:
The roof or eavestrough is leaking into the house wetting the walls upstairs. It seems that it’s located right above back house door where the 2 roof sides meet.
The problem started 2 years ago when there was a lot of snow and couldn’t drain properly when melted at that spot.

Repair Summary: Roof leak is coming from the valley above the main entrance of the house. We identified two cracks on metal valley. Both cracks were 10 feet down and ten feet up from valley, the roof damages were caused by mishandling during installation.

Repair Summary: Roof damages to valley facing the front of the house on the left side was repaired. We began by ripping out entire valley and shingles on both sides, then we installed an ice/water shield on 18” of each valley side. We were able to reinstall the same metal valley flashing and then installed new shingles that matched the original asphalt shingles perfectly.
