The chimney on the home required permanent repair as well as the low slope section needed upgrading on the transition section on the extension.

The Problems We Found:
Upon inspection, we discovered the shingles had been damaged likely due to a racoon. In the area where two pieces of plywood meet, one section was being pushed up by the other. This allowed for a small leak and an area where the animals could get in.

This was the 2nd time this leak had occurred. We inspected the flat roof and found that the seal where the torch down membranes meet and overlap had an open gap. We inspected the entire roof surface. We removed one attic vent as well as shingles around the plumbing stack to see if these were the source of the leaks, but both areas were dry.
