Not sure if you need to replace your entire roof or just have a few spots repaired? There are some signs that can make this a simple decision.
If your shingles are visibly decayed, it goes without saying that you need to replace your entire roof. As they continue to wear, the chance for additional problems, such as leaks, is going to increase.
Are a lot of your shingles missing? If it is more than just a couple, you are probably in need of a replacement roof. It is better to get the entire job done at once, than to piece together a roof and hope that it holds up for a few more months.
While a leak does not mean that you definitely have to replace your roof, it is a sign that may be pointing to this.
