Help Shingles have blown off my roof and I cannot afford a new roof! We hear this all the time from home owners.  A lot of times in high winds shingles will blow off.  Warranties on your roof shingles will not cover high wind gusts unless your purchased an extended warranty from your roofing company.

In some instances your insurance may cover the cost of temporary repairs.  In most cases it is the home owners responsibility to mitigate any damage caused by water infiltration.  Most deductables are higher than the temporary repair itself. It is best to discuss with your insurance agent to make sure you are covered.
