Repair Summary:
Homeowner had a few pieces of aluminum fascia that had blown off the side of the house. We reattached one piece and replaced two other pieces. Double nailed the fascia every foot and a half to two feet.
On the opposite side (east side on same A Frame part) the existing fascia was re nailed in order to ensure it does not come loose. No other roof repairs were needed.

Repair Summary:
The home has missing shingles due to wind damage. We let homeowner know he has a specialty shingle – a mix between 3 tab and laminate shingle.
Our Roof Repair Specialist offered to cover area with deck armour and come back with correct shingles.
Homeowner said he will be redoing roof soon and requested that the shingles be replaced with any type he had.
We installed brown 3 tab shingles in missing areas.
We also fixed the area below where the shingles were coming loose – re secured shingles in this area.

Problem: There are three soffit panels – two of which had blown off and one was hanging. The downspout problem that was overflowing in the corner was caused by a clogged downspout.
Solution: We re attached the soffit panels. Then sealed them with chem caulking so wind will not catch them again.
The seals are good in the corner and on the downspout. We then unclogged the downspout.
Our Roof Repair Specialist recommend that eaves be cleaned around entire house and a gutter filter installed.

Repair Summary:
Homeowner had an exhaust pipe that was disconnected on the interior. Our roof repair contractor removed the old exhaust pipe and will dispose of this.
We replaced with wood and installed ice and water shield and new shingles in this area. We used roof cement and nails where the new shingles meet the old shingles to ensure the area is water tight.

Problem: Water was draining from downspout too close to the house. The opening at the top of the chimney was exposed, and there was cracking in the flashing around the chimney. Bathroom and attic vents were leaking. Flat roof was also leaking.
Solutions: In order to deal with the water draining too close to the house, our roof specialist extended the downspout approximately 4-5 feet so water drains further from the house. We did the same thing with another downspout at the back of the house.

Problem: A raccoon had managed to get on the roof and lift the vent and the shingles on one side, as well as the top of the vent which created a slight roof leak.
Solution: We had to remove the shingles in the surrounding area and we reinstalled the roof vent and then replaced the shingles in the area.

We installed heating cables from third the story window down to the second story eaves down the downspout to the second story electrical outlet by the door.
We ran down the downspout twice and on second downspout that meets the neighbour – poked the heating cables down the downspout about a foot – did a wrap job around a gutter spike to keep neighbours ice from entering as the eaves trough is shared – so set it up so ice dams would not build up there. Window frame was sealed up with door and window caulking the problem is that the window butts up against the shingles and the dorm window caulking does not bond to the shingles and creating the skylight leak.
We did a simple leak repair by filling in the corner with the correct sealant that will bond better and make the window water tight.

The homeowner had a downspout on the left side of the home (when facing home) that was clogged from leaves at top which helped it get heavy. It was also screwed into stucco which did not hold well. We reattached downspout together and attached securely into the stone as well as the PCB pipe that goes into the ground.
We recommend the eaves be cleaned out around entire home – the steeper roof which would need to be done by ladder.
